Camilla Poster

We made this poster with the picture of the possessed daughter looking straight towards the camera, this shows to the audience what the short film is roughly about but doesn't give away too much. We chose this as our final poster.

We also took a picture of the priest about to walk up to the house, this is dull and doesn't show a lot, but is similar to the original exorcist poster, where theres the priest with the street light on him, just in front of the house.

This is our third poster idea, we like this as it shows a lot with the knife in the foreground and the priest with Mary in the background, we didn't choose this as our actual poster as it's hard for the audience to see what this is about.

When creating each of the posters we followed a simple layout:

- Title
- Picture
- Tag line
- Release date
- Actors
- Credits
- Production logo

For the pictures we added a inner shadow so it blended into the background. The release date & actors we added a sight outer glow so they would standout to whoever is viewing it. At the bottom of the poster for the credits we used the text that they use in most film posters to make it look profesional. We also added out production logo in the bottom right corner. The picture were edited in Adobe Lightroom and the poster was made in Adobe Photoshop.

Photos on Set

Seb placing the lights in front of the house. We had to move the lights around to get the most effective use of the light.

Here we put the camera on a small skateboard to capture a shot of the priest as he is walking towards the door.

Here is how we shot the 'taxi' pulling up at the house.

The Final Cast

Name: Aaron Lee
Character: Father Anderson (The Priest)
Description: Aaron was our only cast member that we chose from our auditions. After watching him perform, we were blown away by the passion and enthusiasm in his voice and he was a certainty for the role of the priest. We believed he would do really well but needed him to look older for the part of the priest so we asked him to grow his facial hair.
Name: Hannah Fewings
Character: Mary/Camilla (The Possessed Daughter)
Description: Unfortunately we did not get many female actresses audition however our media teacher knew someone who had experience in acting and could play the part. After watching some of her previous videos, we decided she would be great for the role.

Name: Ruthie Rosenthal
Character: Jenna (The Mother)
Description: Again, due to not getting many female actresses at our audition, we were struggling to find someone but fortunately our media teacher knew someone who runs a theatre company and we decided to use her due to all the experience of acting she had.

Name: Philip Lee
Character: Ian (The Step-Brother)
Description: Unfortunately on the last day of filming, our original actor playing Ian told us that he broke his ankle so we had to find someone else to take his place. Fortunately we managed to get Philip to get his place who was suggested by Aaron his brother. Never the less, Philip was great at acting and was good at capturing different emotions through out our film.

Costume and Props

Name: Philip Lee
Character: Ian (The Step Brother)
Costume: Ian's costume is of him wearing a t-shirt and jeans, in order for him to look like a stereotypical boy.
Props: Ian gets given a flask of holy water by Father Anderson.

Name: Ruthie Rosenthal
Character: Jenna (The Mother)
Costume: Ruthie's costume is of her wearing a casual black top and leggings in order for her to look like a stereotypical mother. The reason why we chose her to wear the colour black was so that it added to the scary atmosphere of the film and the colour black represents death.
Props: We gave her a blood soaked knife for when she is possessed.

Name: Hannah Fewings
Character: Mary/Camilla (The possessed daughter)
Costume: Hannah's costume is of her wearing pajamas, so that it would look she has been possessed for a few days and left on her bed tied up.
Props: Black wig to give Hannah and more scary looking hair style.
Name: Aaron Lee
Character: Father Anderson (The Priest)
Costume: Aaron's costume is of him wearing a black shirt, trousers and coat, with a white colour so that he would look like a real stereotypical priest.
Props: We also gave him a bible along with a flask of holy water to give to Ian. Along with that he also had some rosary beads.
